At the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce we pride ourselves on being a market leader on delivering innovative initiatives to its members that has seen its membership grow over at a staggering rate over the last two years.

As Greater Springfield continues to grow, the chamber is here to support and facilitate the continued growth of our business community while advocating a spirit of collaboration amongst all members and the community at large, we will continue to strive to create and improve our events with the sole purpose of delivering better value to our members.

The Council sets the vision and strategic direction for the City and is also responsible for setting the Council’s organisational structure.

The Mayor and Councillors formulate the City’s goals and the policies of the Council and ensure these are successfully implemented. They form the connection between the individual members of the Ipswich community and the Council and represent the Ipswich community in deciding suitable facilities, services and activities for the City.

Greater Springfield is the largest master planned city in Australia.

Springfield City Group is the master developer of the entire 2,860 hectare (7,067 acre) Greater Springfield land parcel which has become home to over 45,000 residents and over 14,000 students since it was established in 1991.

Springfield City Group conceived and established the master plan for Greater Springfield and has nurtured the pillars of the community, namely education, information technology and health.
